THE VOICE OF OUR NATION'S LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS

The Fraternal Order of Police is the largest and oldest law enforcement labor organization in the United States. Since 1993, the FOP has maintained a National Legislative Office, now known as the Government and Media Affairs Center, on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., with a full-time professional staff that actively lobbies all components of the federal government—from Congress to federal departments to the White House—on public safety and policing issues.

Lodge 427 Leadership Re-elected

Lodge 427 leadership will remain steady as three officers were sworn in for new two-year terms after running uncontested in the recent election.
The installation ceremony affirmed the membership's confidence in the returning team. All three officers previously held the positions they were re-elected to.
The officers continuing their service are:

Ike Hacket, President
Scott Deford, 2nd Vice President
Randall Zimmerman, Treasurer

The team was officially installed this week and will continue to guide the lodge's operations for the next two years.

Beef Raffle Fundraiser Announced

Spoon River Valley FOP Lodge 427 Fundraiser Announced
Spoon River Valley FOP Lodge 427 is selling chances on a 1/4 beef from Farmington Meat Locker, generously donated by Curtis Stevens, as part of an upcoming fundraiser.
Tickets are $10 each, and all proceeds will benefit Spoon River Valley FOP Lodge 427 and its ongoing efforts. The drawing will be held on April 9, 2026, and participants do not need to be present to win.
Community members are encouraged to support the lodge by purchasing a chance for this quality beef donation while helping a worthwhile cause.

Next Membership Meeting

Farmington, IL — Spoon River Valley FOP Lodge 427 (SRVFOP427) will hold its next quarterly membership meeting on Thursday, March 28, at the Farmington Moose Lodge in Farmington, Illinois.

The evening will begin with dinner at 6:00 p.m., followed immediately by the business meeting. All members are encouraged to attend to stay informed and participate in ongoing lodge business and activities.
